Growing from one course to a complete school with several physical locations and a group of well trained instructors, the CSP program is the leading global source for finding highly trained stagers and is the primary destination for anyone wanting to become a stager, it is the company more real estate agents turn to, on behalf of their clients. Martha Stanton-Smith, owner of Rearrangements home staging services,

earns Canadian Staging Professional™ designation

After completing the intensive three day course and required assignments,

Kingston business woman Martha Stanton-Smith

joins the largest Canadian body of professionally trained home stagers

KINGSTON, Ontario – September 29, 2006 Martha Stanton-Smith, owner of Rearrangements home staging services, completed the three day Canadian Staging Professional™ course held in Kingston, Ontario on August 15 to 17, 2006 and earned her designation as a CSP™.

During three very long days, the course taught eight future stagers from the Eastern Ontario region:

  • the benefits of staging, supported by current research,
  • how to understand the real estate industry and work with Realtors®,
  • how to start and operate a staging business including CSP™ code of ethics,
  • how to perform a detailed consultation using the Room Ready Handbook™, and
  • the latest techniques for effectively staging a house for sale.

The highlight of the course was the half-day class exercise staging a Kingston home about to go onto the market. The class was able to lighten, brighten, create a spacious feel and enhance the selling features using only items already found in the home. Instructor, Suzanne Ethier, complimented this particular class on their excellent grasp of the ‘big picture’ because of their effective exchange of furnishings and accessories between rooms to create the best possible staging results.

Home sellers who are stressed by the selling process or worried about getting the maximum return on their equity can find out more by visiting www.rearrangements.ca. Realtors who are concerned about improving their profits can visit www.rearrangements.ca/agents.html.
